Urban Reflections

Urban Reflections started out in 2003 as a three piece cover band called Reflections. Over the years the group grew significantly in size and stylistic backbone.

Today the band is made up of seven seasoned musicians from different urban backgrounds – from Cape Town to Durban, Joburg to PE, a diversity that contributes to a beautifully unique sound. This urban sound prompted the new name Urban Reflections, when its first radio singles were released.

The versatile band is able to up- or downsize itself for different events and venues.  Its well-polished horn section sets us apart from its contemporaries, and for large events like gala dinners and year end spectaculars – they prefer to perform as a NINE piece band which includes saxophone and trumpet. 

With a string of performances at various events such as music festivals, live concerts, private and corporate functions, television programs, special events, parties, restaurants and hotels to its name, Urban Reflections has become one of the most sought after bands in Gauteng, creating quite a following with their sultry tunes, rocking beats and groovy vibes.
