The Singing Lira

Technical Requirements

• Artist provides: the Lira, its rigging/Winch or Tripod hire safety certificate, Andys costume (client’s choice in White/Red/Orange/Blue/Black) and Lira accessories, (angel wings or bows on hoop) as well as Andy’s own Swarovski studded Microphone.
• PA (Sound Hire & Set up) to be provided
• Venue ceiling height and clearance should be at least 6 meters from floor to ceiling. A sight inspection may be necessary to decipher where rigging will happen and additional trussing may need to be built in the venue should it be required (the higher the ceiling the more ‘Wow factor’ the visual effect is.)
• Should ceiling trussing in the venue be problematic, then we may suggest a Tripod erection, which is a triangular structure in which Andy in her Lira may hang. Requirement for Tripod structure is flat ground space of at least 16 Meters (for building purposes) and a floor to ceiling height of at least 8 Meters - once Tripod is erected. Legs of Tripod are equidistant at 7meters each.
• Andy’s Singing Lira Act is performed above the audience. Should client wish, Andy may also come down and roam/interact amongst the crowd to return to her hoop and rise above the audience again.
