Client Feedback

They were great and the client was thrilled!  All in all a great wedding!
Anne Mann wedding coordinator

Myself and Dave just wanted to tell you how fabulous Kayelitsha United Mambazo were.  So many of our guests commented as did the venue owners but most importantly, we loved them and they added something very special to our day.  Besides their singing, they are such a great bunch of guys too. There seem to be nearly more photos of them than us!!  Please could you pass on our message to them. And many thanks for all your help too.
Lindsey and Dave, wedding clients

It was really wonderful working with them and they are a great bunch of guys!  I would definitely work with them again and recommend them to anyone who wants a choir.
Kate Rawbone, Wedding Concepts

We thoroughly enjoyed the choir – they blessed us with their talent!  They were singing the anthem while our dear Madiba was passing on, and even though none of us knew this at the given time, it was as if there was a special, sacred atmosphere.  Thanks for all your effort with the arrangements.
Lizzie Brill, Oasis Retirement Village really was such a special day and we both had the time of our lives. And AS FOR THE CHOIR!!!...They were simply amazing!!   There are a few things we want to say about them. Firstly, their sound, look, personality just shone through & ALL our guests - pommies and south africans alike - were completely WOWED. Quite a few guests went in hunt of them at the Waterfront to try and track down a CD. They were fun at the right moments but also sincere, moving, heartfelt, and their version of amazing grace in the ceremony had most of us in tears. But we should also say that they were amazingly professional, arrived early, left late, were patient in waiting at the side of the ceremony when not singing - and had a smile on their face non-stop. At one point a baby was crying after the ceremony and they took it to one side for some lullabies. I mean these guys were amazing - we would recommend them to anyone. Please tell them thank you!!  We will make it a life mission now to find their CD & play it from time to time as a lovely reminder!
Nick & Kirsten Davey

The choir was FANTASTIC - we really really enjoyed their singing and they were the perfect accompaniment to the most amazing day.  Many thanks for all your help in organising them for us.

Khayelitsha Mambazo United could not have been more obliging, fun and of course, talented – they made our wedding ceremony so unique and we didn’t want them to leave! What a lovely bunch of guys.

In Cabo, Mexico last night a crowd of 800 watched in amazement as Khayelitsha United Mambazo, a vocal group from Cape Town, performed their impressive style of A Cappella music. The group, visiting from South Africa, was the feature entertainment for the Sheraton Hotel and international banking giant, Washington Mutual. They performed for 30 minutes, showcasing their amazing blend, rich sound and their signature perfectly choreographed kicks and moves. The group finished their set to overwhelming applause and was brought back out to perform an additional 3 song encore. For the rest of the evening the group took pictures with hotel guests, employees of the company and hundreds of new fans. "This was one of the most amazing shows I've ever seen" said Heather Mills from Orlando, Florida. "The group is so wonderful, I wish we could take them back to California" said Roger Filkes, a visiting tourist.
