Iman Holmes

Iman Holmes - also known as Mimi - is a born performer whose life and passion is entertaiment.  She has been performing from a young age, and works as a busy dancer, actress, singer, and model.

After being scouted by Just You Artists and Model Management, Mimi received a scholarship through from the New York Film Academy.  She featured in a Suzuki advert in 2014 and has worked with Industry greats such as The Les Twins from Paris at the event Dance to Las Vegas; Nate Butler from Americas Got Talent and Anais from Be Your dream in their music video “Dance like David”; Micasa, Jimmy Nevis, Emo Adams, Garth Taylor, Jamali and Ashley Pienaar from South Africa as the opening acts at their concerts.

Iman was part of the Be Your Dream GAP Year Program in 2016, and was their debut artist for 2016. The gap year program included shadowing artists, acting, music, vocals, videography, producing, TV presenting. hosting and editing. 

Iman is a founding member of a Charity Organization, called Hip Hop for Hope - a charity organization where they spend time with orphans, feeding , playing, and teaching them about the Performing Arts, and Miko Studios - a training facility where they train and mentor students in the performing arts field.

She was one of the first Hip Hop dancers in her hometown to achieve provincial colours and has represented her province countless times on national level for hip hop. She also represented South Africa twice at the Hip Hop Dance Championships in Las Vegas Nevada in the USA as well as ARTS (Applause Rising Talent Showcase) in Orlando.

Iman believes that you are as good as your last performance, therefore you are your own competition.
