Christiaan Schlebusch

Christiaan is a well rounded artist who strives to make an audience laugh, dance and sing along.  He performs as a one man band on vocals and guitar, and comes fully equipped with this own sound and lighting rig.

A powerful stage performer, Christiaan combines his natural shomanship with his passion for music and fun-loving nature, resulting in an enjoyment of music which is contagious to audiences at any event.  he received extensive vocal training and rounding at the Odeon Music School in Bloemfontein, and has been making music since childhood, performing his first big stage show at the age of 14 in Aliwal North. Influenced by the music he grew up with on the "platteland", Christiaan lists the golden oldies and country music as some of the favourites that made his childhood and formed his musicianship.  Songs like Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain, Gambler, Blue Train, and artists like Elvis, Kenny Rodgers and Dolly Parton inspired this passionate artist.

A favourite on many of the Free State's festival stages, highlights from Christiaan's career include performing at the Summer Festival, Buffelfees, Free State Arts Festival, as well as numberous private events and school functions.
