Magician Chad Spade brings a fresh, modern look to the stage with a maximum audience participation act that includes not only sleight-of-hand feats, but also stomach churning stunts and visually astonishing miracles.

It all started with Chad finding a dusty old book, somehow hidden at the back of his cupboard, that demonstrated the devious methods of being a card cheat. He then read it, studied it religiously and began demonstrating his magic to his family at first and then started performing to unsuspecting audiences in the streets, bars and nightclubs around Johannesburg. These earlier experiences exposed him to pretty much every kind of audience.

Proudly possessing 8 years of professional performance experience in close-up and stage magic for private and corporate events, his magic has been witnessed internationally, in countries such as Dubai, Indonesia and regularly in the USA on Disney Cruise Line. Chad has also had the opportunity of performing for national and international sports icons, celebrities and senior executives of major entertainment companies.

In 2014, he had received an invitation from the organization president to join the International Brotherhood of Magicians, the world’s largest magic organization.
