What’s that sound? It’s jazzy, it’s groovy, it’s proudly South African with a whole lotta soul - it can only be Breakfast Included.

They first took to the stage for a sell-out performance in 1999 and it’s been a success story of rave reviews ever since. Their cool new sound, classy look and fresh approach has had an immediate and lasting impact on the face of jazz in South Africa.

This hip and happening, award winning band is in a class of its own, boasting internationally acclaimed albums and an impressive string of prestigious performances. In 2012 the group released their latest album EP, Welcome To Today, recorded in Cape Town and produced and engineered together with Grammy Award winning engineers in New York,USA, along with the Official Music Video of their hit single ‘Wanna Be Loved’.

Led by SAMRO international scholarship winner for jazz piano, Jason Reolon and highly acclaimed drummer and composer Shaun Michau, Breakfast Included features South Africa’s most elite and accomplished jazz artists, including star vocalists Zoe Palesa Modiga, Nomfundo Xaluva and Haydn Gardner, double bass legends Wesley Rustin, Romy Brauteseth and Charles Lazar, saxophone sensations Buddy Wells and Marc de Kock, trumpet extraordinaires Lee Thomson and Darren English, celebrated pianists Melissa van der Spuy and Andrew Lilley, drumming maestros Heinrich Goosen and Jonno Sweetman as well as percussion master Tony Paco.

Always sharply dressed, Breakfast Included is the perfect choice for all occasions where style and visual impact are paramount. From intimate to centre stage, their dynamic live performances are hard acts to follow.
