The Cost Guidelines below are designed to assist with your budgeting and planning. Please note this is merely a rough guide and by no means a formal quote or rate card; performers' prices can vary quite drastically depending on the profile of the act, the timing of your event, and various other factors. With our roster, we strive to cater for a variety of budgets, and each act's info page includes a rough price range indication in order for you to choose the most appropriate acts to enquire with. If you prefer, you can SEND US YOUR EVENT DETAILS, and Gigster will forward your enquiry to acts that should work within your budget!
Cost indications exclude VAT, transport costs, accommodation, meals, per diems, travel time, technical equipment, rehearsals, waiting time, and any other extras.
Bands
- Celebrity / Big Name / Headliner Bands: ± R50, 000 upwards for 1 X 60-90 min set
- Corporate Function / Show Bands: ± R20, 000 - R60, 000 for 2 - 3 X 45 min sets
- Private Function Bands: R8, 000 - R30, 000 for 3 - 4 X 45 min sets
- Small to medium Ethnic / African Bands (e.g marimba etc.): ± R6, 000 - R12, 000 for 2 - 3 hours
- Larger African Bands: ± R25, 000 upwards for 2 - 3 X 45 min sets
Musicians
- Professional Solo Instrumentalists (saxophone, violin etc.): ± R3, 000 upwards
- Vocalist (with backing tracks): from ± R8, 000 upwards
- One-man Band: ± R6, 000 - R15,000
- Classical Duo: ± R5, 000 upwards
- Classical Trio: ± R7, 000 upwards
- Classical Quartet: ± R9, 000 upwards
- African Choir: ± R8, 000 - R15, 000
- Function DJs: ± R7, 000 - R15, 000
Comedians
- Professional (but non-celeb): ± R12, 000 - R20, 000 for 30-40 min comedy show
- Famous / Celebrity: ± R25, 000 - R50, 000 for 30-40 min comedy show
- Famous / Celebrity comedy MC: ± R25, 000 - R55, 000 for 4 hours, including short comedy set
MC / Presenters
- Professional (but non-celeb): ± R15, 000 - R20, 000 for up to 4 hours
- Famous / Celebrity: ± R25, 000 - R55, 000 for up to 4 hours
Keynote Speakers
- Professional (but non-celeb): ± R12, 000 - R20, 000
- Famous / Celebrity: ± R25, 000 - R45, 000
Magicians / Illusionists
- Professional Close-up/Roaming Magician: ± R5, 000 - R10, 000 for 1-2 hours
- Professional Stage Magic Show: ± R10, 000 - R20, 000 for 1 X 30-40 min show
- Professional Illusion Show: ± R25, 000 - R45, 000 for 1 X 30-40 min show
What about Gigster's fees?
Gigster does not charge the customer a fee for its services, instead, the Performer will pay www.gigster.online a small pre-determined commission from the contract fee. So you do not need to worry about any extra costs which are not specified on your quotation from the Artist; apart from any exclusions that will be clearly indicated.
