Biography
The Khayelitsha-based all-male a cappella group Zamanani Brothers Cultural Group was formed in 2007 by Masizakhe Richard Kewana. Modeled after their icons, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, the group sings traditional music in multiple languages.
The choir is a regular feature in Simonstown, where they perform for local and international tourists, and they are also known to entertain commuters on the trains between Khayelitsha and Simonstown. During the 2010 FIFA World Cup, The Zambanani Brothers not only performed for crowds of football fans and tourists,they also composed new songs especially for the occasion. These include Feet It, Kujabul' ingane and General.
A media highlight was a live performance and interview on SABC1's "Swift" in 2009. The group is registered as a primary co-operative, and is a member of Pansa as well as Cape Town Tourism.

- Performing 'Amagwijo' at the Infecting the City Festival at the Cape Town station, February 2011
- Coca Cola competion in Simonstown Naval base, April 2011
