The Muffinz

It has been 7 years since the unique and phenomenal Afro-soul band The Muffinz stormed onto the South African music scene. The 4-piece produces a sound which is not only beautifully South African in the truest sense, it is also simply stunning from a purely sonic point of view and it is now wonder that the group has won numerous awards and toured far and wide.

The Muffinz have received standing ovations at the Cape Town International Jazz Festival and the Grahamstown Arts Festival. They have toured Norway and performed at the Doha International Jazz Festival. The guys have also appeared on stages in Mozambique, Swaziland, Algeria and the DRC. An accent in their career was being billed to perform at the Apollo Theatre in New York in October 2014. The show was sold out. While in the city they filmed interactions with locals where they posed the question that ultimately became the sophomore album title, Do What You Love.

The Muffinz continue to play gigs on the continent and Abroad, they are currently recording their 3rd studio album due for release in 2018.
