Tarryn James

Tarryn James is a sweet and soulful singer based in the South Peninsula of Cape Town. Her sweet and angelic voice is perfect for easy listening background music at weddings, corporate functions and private events.

Tarryn incorporates a mixture of jazz, contemporary ballads and popular songs into her sets, adding in a few crowd favourites that your guests will love. Accompanied by backing tracks, Tarrynincorporates acoustic versions of songs into her sets. On request, she is able to play guitar for a more intimate feel. Tarryn also provides all her own equipment which is suitable for larger functions.Her professional, yet friendly, nature will ensure your booking is effortless and the performance is enjoyable.

With a passion for the stage, Tarryn takes the opportunity to connect with the audience or guests. She loves taking special requests and with sufficient notice, is happy to prepare your favourite songs accordingly.

Tarryn started performing in musical theatre youth productions at the tender age of 10. She continued to perform throughout her schooling years as well as through her University career, while completing her Occupational Therapy degree. She continued to feed her passions for singing through performing at golf days, markets and special functions whilst still living in Pretoria.

Tarryn currently works as a Yoga Instructor and runs her own business, Yoga South Africa. She still incorporates music and singing into her every day life and looks forward to sharing your special occasion with you
