Sureshnie Rider

Co-host on 5fm's Roger Goode Show, Sureshnie Rider is a versatile presenter and in high demand as an MC. She was winnder of the MTN Y’ello Rose award, and was chosen as one of MTN's Top 10 Women in Radio in South Africa.  

These are but a few feathers in Sureshnie's cap; this passionate and bubbly celebrity has successfully crossed over onto the television screen on and behind the scenes.  She was the Production Manager of SABC3’s 3Talk with Noeleen, and also presented two motoring shows.  A self-confessed petrol head and lover of cars Sush is privy to testing some of the fastest Super cars in SA - and in High Heels too!  She was also recently selected to be part of Season 8 of the BBC Production Strictly Come Dancing which aired on SABC3. 

Sureshnie has just been selected as the Channel voice of Zee World (DSTV 166), and in addition to regular engagements as MC for Private and Corporate events, she can also be found behind the decks as a DJ. Not to be limited to South African Shores, she also Produces and presents HIT EXPRESS, which plays exclusively on South African Airways International Flights.

Sureshnie strives in her personal life to make differences in the lives of others. She co-founded and launched an anti-rape and anti-crime campaign called Blow the Whistle alongside Legacy Lifestyle. This is a campaign that literally promotes the blowing of a whistle, to alert for help. An app has also been developed, and the proceeds of sales have resulted in the improved assistance at Angel Care Crisis Centre in the KZN Midlands. As an ambassador she throws herself into her projects and is hoping that the Blow The Whistle project can be part of everyday life.  She is passionate about South Africa and keeping the treasure of it’s people safe and secure.  She is also a Brand Ambassador for US based make up brand MUD Make Up Designory, as well as South Africa’s top Salon – Gary Rom Hairdressing.

On the business side, Sureshnie co-owns Bobblehead South Africa, a company that manufactures and creates Bobbleheads (figurines) of South African Celebrities, Politicians and Sports stars.
