Richard Stirton is a vocal powerhouse who was aptly voted The Voice winner worldwide for 2016. Comfortable with guitar in hand, Richard delivers a mixture of original and cover materials for a myriad of audiences.

Sports crazy Richard had no idea what the future held for him when a back injury put hold to his promising cricket career. Fast forward 6 years, and you have one of the most uniquely talented musicians to come onto the scene in South Africa.

With unbelievable abilities with both the guitar and keyboard, supplemented by an incredibly versatile and toned voice, Richard has the makings of being a big star both locally and abroad. As a writer, he has grown into a force to be reckoned with penning some songs that are worthy of classic status.

Richard's debut offering “Middle Ground” released on the 7th of October 2016. He describes the album as a diverse album sonically but at the same time the message throughout remains similar and the core sound of the album is consistent and identifiable. “The goal of this album was to be as true to who I am as a person as possible. The goal was to make music that I believe in, because I feel like if you believe in what you are doing, others will believe in it to. I never want to be putting on an act.”

A prolific performer and a quintessential purveyor of cool, Richard is a man of many talents including corporate and stage shows in addition to his sometimes electric and sometimes haunting live performances.
