Naimah

Naimah is a Zambian-born singer-songwriter whose sound is uniquely fused with electronic, dancehall and reggae music, yet still has its resonance with the urban pop and RnB styles of productions we hear on the commercial scene currently coming from the likes of the Chainsmokers, major lazer, Martin garrix among others. And whilst she has been largely compared to international pop and R&B singers like Alicia Keys, Tinashe, and even the all girl group, Little Mix, Naimah's vocals stay diverse in range and unpredictable in content; having first released a mid tempo love song  tilted Long Time and then switching it up with A club friendly, fierce bad girl song titled, Mash it.

Her sultry solo performances and music are an eye and ear catcher and definitely caught all of Jozi's attention- so much that a huge response in radio, TV and the general public took positively to Naimah's music within just weeks of their releases. While Corporate shows are her "thing" because she loves an intimate, she's got the wild  card crowds at public events on lock with her wild side and energetic shows which prompted Naimah to do more public and club appearances after her second release.

Being an independent artist since Naimah started, music has been centre stage of her life and career.

Naimah's commitment to her passion in music continues with her most recent release titled Reasons - another mid tempo love and relationships song- a theme she says will be a recurring one in her body of work underway.
