Biography

Lonesome Rokka (Eckart Borutto) is a one of a kind solo musician based between Cape Town and Hamburg (Germany). Performing his own Rockabilly originals as a one-man rock band on guitar, vocals and drum box, Lonesome Rokka's unique stage personality, coupled with his rocking musical talent and novel Blues-rock / country style, ensures a memorable party every time!

In the 90s Eckart played in bands like Silent Scream, Rock House, CRAXX!!, Catalina and Cancer Barrack. Since 2004 in South Africa, he performed with acts such as MoinMoin and VIC-HEAD, in addition to his solo performances. In 2015 in Hamburg he progressed to the group stage and finished in the 3rd place of The jury SPH BAND CONTEST.

He has appeared on TV shows and films such as BUDDIES with Jürgen Vogel, Feuerengel et al, and was interviewed on European shows like Motörhead, Kid Rock, H - BlockX, etc. He also features on numerous DVDs and videos - both physical and on Youtube.
