Keenan Cerff

Hailing from the wonderful land that is Lavender Hill in Cape Town, comedian Keenan Verff uses his story telling and natural ability to make people laugh. 

Keenan's comedy can be described as observstional and story telling often talking about getting robbed, life on the Cape Flats and working in the call center amongst other things.

Starting his comedy journey in 2013, initially struggling, he eventually found his feet after venturing out of Cape Town to do shows in Durban, after meeting up with Carvin H Goldstone, who probably gave Keenan the best and most important advice of his comedy career, he said just tell your stories and just be you. He has grown from strength to strength ever since.  

He has gone on to perform across the Durban, Johannesburg and Cape Town comedy scene, jumping on stages like the On fire comedy week(Durban) Goliath Comedy Club(Johannesburg) and Cape Town Comedy Club to name a few.

Keenan has opened for likes of Dillan Oliphant, Virgil Prins, Dave Levihnson, Joey Rasdien and most recently Riaad Moosa.

In 2018, He was chosen by Trevor Noah to perform at the show titled "NationWild" and In 2019, he was picked by Comedy Central to be a writer for the Roast of AKA, which according to him are the highlights of his career thus far.

Keenan featured in Carvin H Goldstone's Culture Shock Tour in 2019, sharing the stage in cities like Kokstad, Mthatha, East London, Makhanda and Sedgfield.
