Jackie Kwenda

Jackie Kwenda is a soul singer/songwriter who is as fervent about music as she is about life.  Her style infuses jazz and neo-soul influences, absorbed from worldly experience, with classic Motown and soul.

Jackie’s experience spans from large corporate events for clients such as Standard Bank, Truworths, Distell, and SAB Miller to intimate weddings and big festivals. With a smooth and powerful voice, she is charming as she is exuberant.  The stage is her playground and the audience her best friends.

Jackie’s versatility and electric stage presence has made her a sought after session vocalist. She’s worked with the likes of CODA Africa and is a former lead singer of the popular swing outfit The Swingsetters. A chameleon, she glides between genres with ease performing fantastic renditions of music by Tina Turner, Amy Winehouse, Ella Fitzgerald and more.
