George Sax

Known as the progenitor of the live Sax and DJ collaboration concept in South Africat since the late 90s, George Sax is undoubtedly South Africa's Premium Saxophonist, DJ and Producer. Through decadent mixing behind the DJ box, breathtaking sax riffs and tribal percussion on the dance floor to elegant lounge music to move your soul, George has been key in changing the way audiences perceive and enjoy dance music. 

Not surprisingly he has risen from strength to strength! Representing South Africa in over 16 Countries reaching over 2 million people live with currently 4799 professional appearances under his belt as well as a world record for playing saxophone during free fall (2018)  George has certainly earned his title as the Premium Saxophonist.

George has just returned from a 6 month world tour where he performed in Dubai, United States (Ft Lauderdale, Miami), United Kingdom, Ibiza (Pacha, Cafe Del Mare) and Italy (Rome and Tuscany). He is now back in Sunny South Africa and ready to share his experiences with you both visually and through his music.

Highlights of his career include: Achieving a world record for sax playing, Being resident at three of the worlds biggest super clubs Pacha Ibiza (Pete Tong 2013-2014), Space (Carl Cox 2014-2016), Pacha (2018 with Labrynth) Cafe del Mare (2016/2018), Playing for 80 000 people at Jazz on the lake, Performing  twice with Jamiroqui in 2017, touring Israel with Groove armada and being invited to personally perform for HRH King Willem-Alexander of  the Netherlands. Performing for England at the Fifa world cup.
